Submission instructions for the advanced critique folders at #TheWritersMeow
Step 1. - Choose a deviation from either the poetry or prose subfolders and critique it.
(Until these subfolders are filled up a little more, you may also choose a deviation from elsewhere within this group if none of these are to your liking.)
Step 2. - Copy/paste the following form into the artist comments section of the deviation you wish to submit for advanced critique and fill out ALL FIELDS (Example above. Please note... for your submission to be accepted for advanced crit, this completed form MUST be included!):
- Genre: (fantasy, sci-fi, romance... you get the gist)
- Rating: (G, PG, PG-13, or MA. You may also include content if you wish)
- Issues on this piece I need help with: (list wherever you feel you're having problems with your piece)
- Special requests: (here is where you'd say if you want this critique noted or send somewhere other than via comment)
- Deviation I critiqued in order to submit this: (link us to the dev you critiqued. The critique MUST be recent, and it MUST be a real critique with positives and negatives. Please refer to the informative pieces located in the advanced critique main folder for more information on what a critique is.)
Step 3. - Post the deviation you wish to be critiqued into the proper advanced critique subfolder.
For now, as long as you critique a TWM member and post it in the form on your deviation, there will be no limits to how many deviations you may post into the advanced critique folder. As the critique folders fill up, we may begin imposing limits as with the other folders. It all depends on how many we receive.
Like with all critique groups, this is only meant as a temporary rest stop in the revision/edit process of a piece. When you have received the critique/beta you needed on a dev(s) and wish to have no more, please note us so the deviation(s) in question can be moved to a genre folder.
Thank you for understanding the unique nature of this project. Please let one of the admins know if you have any further questions.
This group sounds interesting however I am more of a Novelist than a poetry or prose writer. Can I still submit stuff? Or is this group only for poets?
